December 2025
Happy holidays! It’s time for a rest? Shut down and shut up?
2025 has been another remarkable year, with so many new initiatives, such a large number of project launches, and such innovation. Away from the obvious advent of new AI based systems, that have penetrated even the smallest of businesses, the traditional driver of growth has, and always will be, solving problems for clients. And throughout the year, we have showcased exactly how that is the number one business strategy to follow.
In December, we finish the year looking at companies from a range of industries who solve problems better than others, making them de facto industry leaders. First of all, identifying the problem, then developing a solution, before iterating and perfecting, and then delivering. In theory, it’s all easy. But in practice it takes significant resources to rollout.
Our lead story comes from Tourvest Destination Management, a leader in inbound travel across the continent. CEO Martin Wiest tells us that digitisation as a strategy is paying off as it solves customer problems faster than before, but retaining the human element in complex markets solves problems that others simply cannot.
Alligator, a leading promotional marketing manufacturing business, is listening closely to what clients want and shifting its strategy to align. By introducing new ranges and new skills, the company remains an industry leader amongst a client base which has the pick of the bunch.
Stainless Precision Engineering has been so successful in South Africa, thanks to an unwavering focus on quality, that it is now growing internationally from a base in Florida, USA. This is no accident. It has delivered for clients and is now a trusted brand.
Alclad Shopfitters has a who’s who list of retail brands that rely on its services. It brings more than just carpentry. A full design, manufacture, install, and maintain service answers a long-standing question from clients about sustainability. Quality on time, on budget delivery helps Alclad to remain an industry leader.
All of these companies have claimed there place by solving tough challenges. So, while many rest and relax over Christmas, how is your business preparing for 2026 and the challenges that await. Let us know online. We’re always on LinkedIn.
